BBC Planet Earth II: Augmented Reality Campaign

Served via mobile app Blippar. When BBC Planet Earth II was due to launch in Asia, Blippar was approached to create an unique AR experience to generate awareness. Tapping on Blippar's object recognition technology, the animals from the documentary were brought to life by scanning relevant everday objects. Rotoscoped videos of the animals were created from selected clips from the documentary as AR intro overlays. Facts about the animals are served in the static pages.

In addition, we proposed a series of images as social media posts to boost traffic to the AR experience.
