A resort-wide Hawaiian inspired event was held at Resorts World Sentosa. The brief - a theme that is tropical and affluent looking . It was an amazing opportunity to try something fun.
The writer did a smart wordplay on Haute Couture and it was my turn to make it shine. I had always wanted to explore a Crazy Rich Asian themed shoot and the management actually selected it among other proposals! (No crazy rich budget tho.)
The event lockup was designed with Hawaiian elements in mind. The hibiscus - Hawaii’s state flower is placed with a stylised 'O' to resemble a flower worn behind the ear, a popular way to accessorise amongst the locals.
Everything was setup and shot in-house. We were blessed to have help from the amazing floral department.
